Brikena Gjylameti is a deeply empathetic and intuitive therapist who brings warmth, curiosity, and a strong work ethic to her therapy sessions. With a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology (graduating in Tirana, Albania) and 10 years of experience supporting people through both personal and community-based work, Brikena brings a thoughtful, client-centered approach to every session. She has a genuine passion for mental health, including dedication to supporting individuals as they explore their inner world, work through challenges, and move toward healing and self-understanding.
Brikena strongly believes that our past, especially childhood experiences, shapes the way we live, love, and relate as adults. Her therapeutic approach invites clients to gently uncover those early patterns, make sense of their emotional experiences, and develop healthier ways of relating to themselves and others. Her diverse experience, ranging from project management to leadership roles in non profit organizations, has deepened her understanding of trauma, resilience, and human connection.
Known for creating a safe, supportive, and judgment free space, Brikena meets every client with compassion and respect. She is naturally curious about the strong bond of human mind and body and deeply values each person’s story, viewing therapy as a collaborative journey toward clarity, connection, and growth. Fluent in English and Albanian, Brikena offers culturally sensitive care to individuals from diverse backgrounds, and is honored to walk alongside her clients as they navigate life’s complexities with courage and hope. She is currently serving as a Vice Presidentfor “Care for Albania” Non-Profit Organization, which aims to enhance mental health support and advocate for mental health services for the Albanian community in the USA.
