Dr. Lilia Berkovich is a licensed clinical psychologist with expertise in treating anxiety, trauma and dissociation, depression and mood disorders, immigration and acculturation challenges, psychosomatic and somatic symptoms, obsessive-compulsive and perfectionistic tendencies, addiction, disordered eating and body image concerns, executive functioning difficulties, peripartum and parenting issues, and struggles with anger and emotional regulation.

Grounded in classical, relational, and bodymind psychodynamic approaches, Dr. Berkovich offers a therapeutic space that is genuine, reflective, and deeply engaging. She is passionate about working with individuals across the lifespan, as well as couples and families who are committed to the therapy process. She particularly welcomes those seeking in-person work and values the depth and relational richness that in-person sessions can offer.

Multilingual in English, Hebrew, and Russian, Dr. Berkovich brings a culturally attuned perspective to her work. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Tel Aviv University in Israel and her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PsyD) from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Her clinical experience spans a wide range of settings, including private practice, medical and psychiatric hospitals, community mental health centers, substance use treatment facilities, the juvenile justice system, and school-based services. She is also a dedicated educator, teaching and training doctoral-level psychology students, with a particular focus on helping emerging clinicians develop authenticity, attunement, and a strong theoretical foundation. Currently, Dr. Berkovich is pursuing advanced specialization in infant-parent psychotherapy, with the goal of supporting early relational development and offering guidance to new parents during the critical perinatal period.
